2021 Small Business Round-up
It’s no secret, I love working with a small business. Throughout 2021 I had the rich and meaningful pleasure of working with about a dozen small businesses. Today, as one more way to honor the work they do, the difference they make, and the products they carry let’s do a round-up!
Some products were gifted to me, others I bought myself, and a few I’ve earned a small commission when a consumer bought a product based on my recommendation. Regardless, these products and services are each beautiful in their own way and it’s my privilege to share them with you.
Small Business Style and Fashion
Stitches & Moor Edi10 for 10% off
I spent the end of 2020 hunting down the PERFECT winter hat. After searching high and low, and reading 100s of reviews. I wanted something comfortable, stylish, durable, and, ideally, handmade. I found Amanda’s shop on Etsy through a mutual connection on Instagram and fell in love. After living in a high altitude climate with cold, snowy, blustery, and windy winters for nearly two decades I can honestly say these hats are the BEST I’ve worn.
Hats from Stitches and Moor were gifted in exchange for content creation.
Designs by GG Decatur Edi10 for 10% off
One of the really fun areas I’ve added to PDH this year is sharing practical, cute, and intentional wardrobe choices with you. Gina’s beautiful handmade jewelry has been worn more times than I can count during try-ons and her jewelry has been a staple in my work wardrobe. Her jewelry is beautiful, lightweight, affordable, and durable.

I love the mission of this small online boutique. Founded by influencer Liz from @LatteswithLiz and her husband, Shop Set Apart is a boutique on a mission. I love the causes the boutique supports and the inclusive sizing options they offer. With regular and frequent new releases I always love finding pieces to round out my teaching wardrobe at Shop Set Apart.
Shop Set Apart items were purchased.
Esther & Jo, and here
My sister’s boutique seasonally carries Mommy & Me sets, along with festive tees. This year it’s been really fun spreading the word and supporting her ever growing business. Her vintage made modern children’s boutique never ceases to amaze me with it’s beautiful patterns and colors. I’m especially glad my big girl still doesn’t mind matching with her mama from time to time too
Esther & Jo items were gifted.
Small Business in the Kitchen
It was a huge honor to partner with Earlywood Designs back in the fall. Their wooden spoons elevate my kitchen performance and are one of Oprah’s favorite things in 2020! To celebrate the craftsmanship, quality, and function of these beautiful kitchen tools was truly one of my highlights of 2021.
Wooden spoons from Earlywood Designs were gifted in exchange for content creation.
Lori reached out in the fall and asked if she could send over some of her coveted seasoning packs. They are such a time saver for busy households and make the perfect gift for anyone in your life. I was honored to partner with Lori and share how delicious, healthy, and convenient her seasoning packs and recipes are.
Spice Packs from C3Bros were gifted in exchange for content creation.
Speaking of Oprah, Cutlery Couture has been featured in O magazine and I’m not the least bit surprised. These gorgeous silverware pouches have been the finishing touch to nearly every seasonal tablescape I’ve created over the past couple years. They are a joy to work with, their silverware pouches are incredibly affordable, and they make amazing gifts!

Small Business Home Decor
Ruffled Nest Decor – PDH10 for 10% off
Pine Daisy House has some of its beginnings in the home decor content creation landscape. Creating a simple, beautiful home through the lens of rustic timber home living is one of my passions still. I was just thrilled to partner with two incredible home boutiques this past spring to reenvision or coffee bar. You can read all about the mini makeover here and take a closer look at these beautiful small shop and hand crafted items.
The end result of this mini refresh was also featured on one of my favorite blogs, White Arrows Home, here. Start to finish this entire project was a joy to complete.
Products from Ruffled Nest Decor were gifted, items from Bluebonnet Home were purchased at an exclusive discount in exchange for content creation.
Porcelain Candle Co– Pinedaisy10 for 10% off
At the beginning of 2021 I had the immense privilege of helping create a candle with Sarah from Porcelain Candle Co. Helping create Sunny Pine to this day remains one of my proudest points in my Pine Daisy House journey. Read all about it here.
I make a small commission on the sale of each Sunny Pine candle at no additional cost to the consumer.
In the Classroom
Honest History– PINEDAISYHOUSE for 15% off on two single issue orders
Throughout the past two school years my classroom has been gifted a beautiful magazine subscription. Honest History is an adventure magazine for young historians. The publication values journalistic integrity and accuracy above hyperbole. Quarterly magazines are rich in creativity and art and remain ad free. They are a prized possession in my classroom and students are simply giddy to get their hands on the newest issue of Honest History.
The Honest History magazine subscription is gifted to me and thereby given to my classroom library in exchange for content creation.
I consider the opportunity to partner with a small business the highest compliment as a blogger and content creator. The care, craftsmanship, and talent it requires to cultivate something beautiful in the form of a business is special. When you support a small business you support a family, you’re putting food on their table and supporting someones dream. It has been my joy to partner with these beautiful businesses in 2021.
With hope for you and your intentional home & life,
