Your Garden Planner- An Intentional Living Tool

Gardening is one of my favorite hobbies each spring and summer. I’m not that greatest at it but I sure love the garden! One of my favorite parts of the process is planning the garden! We’ve lived at Pine Daisy House for four years and I’m finally feeling like I know our soil, light, and climate well enough to approach the gardening season with more confidence.

Last winter I poured over gardening books, websites, and made plans for our first, small, veggie garden. I learned some valuable lessons along the way. This spring I decided to combine some of the knowledge I gained along with tried and true planning tools to create Your Garden Planner.

A Gardening Guide for Everyone

One of my main goals in this planner is to offer every gardener (seasoned or new) the opportunity to plan any size garden they wish. Like all Intentional Living Tools, Your Garden Planner, accommodates the needs of various households and gardeners. I’m grateful to have gotten valuable feedback from master gardeners as I wrote this planner and am confident it is a tool that can be used in many homes. Apartment porch gardens, or sprawling urban and rural gardens reaping crops to feed households; this tool can help along the way.

A Gardening Guide for Budgeting, Planning and Reflecting.

I’ve tried to include everything an experienced or novice gardener will need in this planner. There are a few different sections, one for planning, another for creating a garden layout. The last section is for reflecting on your garden progress.

Recently, with the onset of gardening season, I’ve seen several articles about the health benefits of gardening. I too have de stressed by simply being willing to get my hands dirty. I love finding simple joy and pleasure by being outside and helping beautiful things grow in my own soil. Beautiful gardens are occur after seasons of work. Layers up layers of trial, error, mended soil, annuals and perennials all work together to create beautiful growing things with a story to tell. My hope and prayer is that this garden planner can be a tool to help you cultivate and grow the next layer in your garden.

With hope for you and your intentional home,
